A Google Tag Manager container is a public JavaScript file that every visitor downloads. We read it the same way a browser does and list the Google, pixel and consent tags configured in it. We cannot see private settings, triggers or server-side containers.
Some tags only load after a visitor accepts cookies, load on checkout pages only, or run on a server. The checker reads what a first-time visitor receives before clicking anything, so treat a missing tag as a prompt to check, not proof it is absent.
Yes. Add up to two competitor websites to see a side-by-side table, or use Bulk list for up to 10 sites and download the result as a CSV. Everything we show is public information that any browser receives.
No. Our server fetches the public pages once to run the checks and sends the result to your browser. Nothing is saved apart from a short-lived counter that limits checks per hour.
Send a short brief. A specialist reads your account with read-only access and comes back with the three changes we would make first.
